The little girl has been begging to go to Divi since practically forever. When I heard about this hotel, I figured it would be less exhausting to have a place we could rest & leave our bags during the day so we could shop to our hearts’ content in relative comfort ๐Ÿ˜€

Batangas: Hacienda Darasa (Photos)

After our (very) late lunch, we walked around the hacienda grounds to take photos and check out the facilities. They have 2 large pools, 1 adult & 1 kiddie, team building facilities, cottages for daytrippers, function rooms for events, and a large area with a huge tree that would be perfect for a garden wedding ๐Ÿ™‚ Some of these photos were also taken early the next morning, as we couldn’t get good photos of the pool area the previous day since there were daytrippers in the area.

I spotted this on Metrodeal, and it seemed like a great bargain (Php999 instead of Php1990 for 2D/1N Superior Room for 2pax) so I immediately purchased it then made reservations last December. The fastest way to get a reply is to call the mobile number indicated in the listing.

Tagaytay: Tagaytay City Cheat Sheet

Here’s a general compilation of tips I learned from our December 2013 trip ๐Ÿ™‚

How to get there: Coming from Cubao, you can try the Philtranco terminal on Edsa, sometimes Tagaytay-bound buses pass there. Or you can go directly to Pasay for Nasugbu- or Tagaytay-bound buses. You can also catch a Dasma/Palapala bus, then get on a Tagaytay-bound bus at Robinsons Dasma. But I recommend the 3rd option only as a last resort, as you will pass thru what seems like every town in Cavite.

Tagaytay: Las Ventanas (Photos)

We woke up around 5:30am, showered & walked around the grounds while waiting for breakfast at 7am ๐Ÿ™‚ I think 6am-7am is the best time for taking photos, as everyone else is still asleep so you can have the grounds to yourself ๐Ÿ˜€

Metro Manila: Kabayan Hotel (Pasay)

Kabayan Hotel (Pasay) ~ August 2013

Date visited: 13 August 2013
Location: Pasay City, Metro Manila

Hubby & I wanted to watch Linkin Park at MOA, and weren’t too keen on commuting to and from the venue. Microtel MOA was obviously the best choice as far as location goes, but I found it rather expensive for what it offers. Most other choices were nice but too expensive, cheap but uber-yucky…you get the picture ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

After reading various reviews (mostly blogs & TripAdvisor), we decided on Kabayan Hotel in Pasay. It was easily accessible via public transpo, cheap (thanks to an online promo) & seemed clean & decent enough ๐Ÿ™‚
